Level 1 Reading & Language Arts Course

Service Description

COURSE WILL BEGIN AFTER LABOR DAY 2024 Christian Based : Level 1 Fundamentals Language Arts course that teaches using brain-friendly methods that utilize all three learning pathways to the brain: visual, auditory, and kinesthetic. This allows all children to successfully learn the academic fundamentals since each and every child is being taught using a method that works the best for their brain's academic learning. In addition, using brain-friendly teaching methods engage both sides of the brain. The result is WHOLE brain learning since both sides are working together to process and learn academic concepts. Level 1 starts at the very beginning and is appropriate for students in grade 1 to 3, depending on their prior academic knowledge & mastery of a beginner's language arts concepts which are spelling, reading, vocabulary, grammar and writing basic, simple sentences . This is a self-paced course that will include online lessons, hands-on activity videos, downloadable worksheets, and online testing for each individual student. You will assist your child with completing worksheets and practicing concepts that they may struggle with, but most of the teaching is done for you. Price is $12 per month per student. Each student will be enrolled in our homeschool online learning management system and have their own sign on information. Parents will have the ability to sign on and see their child's grades and progress whenever they wish to so so. ATTENTION: REQUIRED READING SET is needed for the reading portion of this course. I can't write an entire academic reading curriculum for each level. Therefore, a specific reading book/child's reader and the matching worksheet activities booklets will be used with each of my language arts courses. The cost will be less than fifty dollars for the set and details will be provided of what to purchase upon enrollment in this course. The child's reader/book can be re-used and/or re-sold if you wish to do that once you no longer need it.
